She has experience in cases heard in the High Court, District Court and the Magistrate’s Courts.
Her criminal practice sees her representing clients facing allegations such as assault, alcohol-related driving offences, fraud and dishonesty offences, sexual offences, employment-related offences and immigration offences. She has had particular experience in advocating for clients in mitigation hearings and bail applications.
On the civil side, Josie guides clients through challenging situations including personal injury claims, commercial and property disputes, probate matters and bankruptcy. She also has experience in civil procedures, such as resisting summary judgment and unless orders.
