Kenwick Yam

With a PhD in China law, Kenwick Yam is a barrister-at-law who has participated in a wide spectrum of criminal and civil matters. He has been a team member in assisting the Senior Counsel or other more senior counsel in a number of criminal and civil cases in the Court of Appeal, Court of First Instance of the High Court, District Court and Magistracies.

Kenwick has conducted trials in criminal cases and applications in civil litigations on his own. His civil practice involves commercial disputes, contract, company, land and property, probate and matrimonial matters. His expertise is on those matters which involves China laws.

Being an experienced civil servant before joining the legal field, he is familiar with the government procedures and rules and regulations.

Kenwick is a CEDR and HKMAAL accredited mediator and is listed at the Hong Kong Bar Association's List of Mediators. He is also one of the Practice Group members of CEDR.
